**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Battlefield, let me save you £50 for your kids inheritance old man, everyone will pretend they are going to play it and then go back to playing COD because it takes no brain power, launches in seconds and you can scratch your nuts while playing it. For that reason I'm out! Just get Ghosts and save your self any pretense of wanting a change!

See you on Spec ops!

Done, you know me so well :p

Not beating PS4 to market could be a huge mistake. Even if you launch earlier with less units, it creates demand and a sell out looks great to the casual buyer, it must be the system to have.

Nah it's the absolute shambles of pre-launch that will cost them not the launch date. Most people I know wouldn't have cared if the ps4 launched 4 months earlier than the xbox if it wasn't for all that balls they pulled in the last few months. They would have just waited.

Now it looks like they don't have a clue what they are doing or what direction they want to head.

That's what will cost them, not a launch date 3 or 4 weeks behind Sony. After all the wii didn't do too bad after launching after the 360.

How well can they recover from the bad PR, that's the story. Not the launch date.

I'm getting BF4 and will stick to playing it if we get enough people on it. I can't bare to play more than a couple of games on blops 2 now without wanting to snap the disc. I don't think i'll be playing it much over the next few months.

How many games have you racked up to come to that conclusion :p

1500+?

You will be back for more, just like the rest of us :p

I love Gears, that's my fav game. No one else cares or plays it from here or my RL friends. Now I'm not 100% sure if it's because it's so good for me because of the game or because of the dedicated servers that I never ever feel I'm getting done by BS but my better players. I'm curious to see if my game experience is different on COD with dedicated servers.

Battlefield will last about 5 minutes regardless of whether it's better than COD, it will take effort to change and I really no longer know what it will take to stop the COD juggernaut. After all there has been some utter drivel COD games since MW2 and it doesn't seem to matter.

O i'll go back for a few games but I won't be playing it like I was. I have only been playing it as there was nothing else to play but I have a few SP/Co op games now so i'll be playing them.

I am one of the few of us that actually enjoyed BF3 but I didn't get into it till late and didn't want to buy the season pass. This year though, I will be playing it more and getting the pass as I really enjoyed BF3, even though I never played it consistently but that was because most of the usual gays were playing COD. I will be joining Frodders and his usual crew for some BF4 action.

I will be getting ghosts on the 360 to start with but BF4 will hopefully be my main next gen FPS.

Answer the question, how many matches of Blops 2?

:p;)

We have your soul, I will eat a bar of bournville if you play 1/4 as many games of BF4 :p

Cod4life ;)

Remake MW1 with the new console pre-quick scope patch on dedicated servers with 3-5-7 perks and it would make enough money to fund nasa a mission to mars. :D

Loads of games, i'm not denying it. But like I said I was only playing it as there has been sod all else out that is any good. I also said I will get ghosts on the 360, but BF4 will be my main game on the next gen. We just didn't have enough people playing it and I was late to the BF3 party. This time i'll be there from the start and in a group.

COD just needs to be a XBLA game with all the maps from previous games up for sale individually at say 200MS points each and then you can just buy the ones you actually like.

According to people who have had hands on at PAX. Apparently you have to click it close to the pivot point or it doesn't register the button press.

Yeah, I've read about them being a touch stiffer (not sure it was needed but not worried either) but not registering seems like something that would have been picked up as MS appear to have put a heap of time into the controller.

Hopefully it's either incorrect (there have been plenty of rumors that have turned out that way) or just 1-2 controllers with issues otherwise MS will have a bit of a mess on their hands.

Every other hands on with the controller says it is the best yet, cant see a few people at PAX finding issues that MS and every game site haven't noticed\found.

Guess we'll find out soon. It certainly seems that Sony have made bigger improvements but the DS3 was playing catch up. Seems to be personal preference between the XB1/DS4 whereas the 360 was clearly better previously.

The negative comments in XB1 seem to be from people with larger hands so hopefully for my girly hands it'll be perfect. Looking forward to the DS4 as playing the next Uncharted game with a good controller will be awesome :)
