Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [31 August - 01 September 2013]

our next 5 are:
Swansea
Southampton
Crystal Palace
Newcastle
West Brom
No reason we cant be aiming for max points from those too, 10 from the 15 is perfectly achievable however.

Simply put the ManU passing was extremely poor compared to some of the moves that Pool put together. Normally i would be happy to see ManU lose but that was such a poor performance that it gives me no pleasure to have watched that.

Only positive is that ManU often have a terrible 1st 6 games with odd results etc.

Swansea and Southampton are tough games but we should be looking to win the other three. I'd be happy with 11 points tbh.

Looks like the comments on Arsenal not liking physical contact showing already, Rosicky falling over already under little contact.

I don't care how many sponsors #lfc have in directors' box at Anfield. Roy Hodgson should be in there and not in scouts' area

Henry Winter said:
Even if Hodgson's #lfc spell didn't work out, he's #eng manager. Clubs usually treat #eng manager with more respect. He's livid

Henry Winter said:
Hodgson not invited into chairman's suite at Anfield either. #eng manager shown to small scouts' room. Unprecedented. He may leave at h-t

That's what you get for ******* on the fans, players and a former manager. Not welcome.

Edit: Who's this cat poo they keep talking about?

Thought we played well today and whilst we sat back allot the second half we still defended well, glad skrtel did well too feel he has been harshly written off by the manager and some fans. Still feel we need to take chances better but over all happy with that :)

Forgot to say, well played Skrtel, thought we'd lose or at least concede some with him.

Although against smaller teams with a higher line he might not be so good

He's the type of defender we need for games like these but for the majority where we'll play higher and have more possession he doesn't really fit in. Club will have to decide if they want to keep a high earner for the odd outing or not.

Moyes has said that Kagawa was fit, he had to choose between Nani and Kagawa for the bench... and went for Nani. I'm patient as a lot of United fans are, but there's only so far we can go into the season being patient.

Kagawa better than Cleverely, Zaha better than Young/Valencia and a couple of the youngsters better than our deadwood bench warmers
