840EVO 7mm SSD

Hi

Help me out abit guys.. Just got Samsung 840 EVO 500GB its tiny 7mm (Looks laptop size) is this a problem for a desktop gaming machine or just the future of new ssd's.

errrm every ssd is this size. if you want to fit it into a 3.5" hard drive bay then you need an adapter plate

I bought couple 2.5 to 3.5 adapters model Akasa AK-HDA-03 can fit two SSD in the each adapter well made an cheap.

That's one of my little "frugal" tricks.

Either that or a pair of 2.5 - 3" adapter rails. I don't see the point of those trays that often cost >£5, unless you are building a machine with a clear side panel.
