Spent around 10k on photography gear.
Also got about 6k worth of skiing gear (5 pairs of skis, couple of any beacons, pro shells, multiple packs, glacier ropes, harnesses, skins).

Iv had my fair share

Rimfire .17hmr rifle on a firearms licence

Skiing

Not got anything going at the mo though apart from a mountain bike

Around £8000 to actually get my licence and flew 10 hours over the past two weeks. Including fuel, landing fees, plane share costs & insurance etc it cost just over £1600

Photography! I added it all up once and it came 15k or thereabouts, it would be around 17k now
I'm with you on that. I spent around £10k on photo kit which was superseded by mountain biking which currently stands at over £14k since 2007.
