The Official Pro Evolution soccer 2014

Nice graphics. I enjoy PES 2013 but find a few things irritating at times that I think spoil the game.

"Cheating" in this game is rife online and Konami have done nothing in the past to combat or minimise this. Then there is the silly AI in the game, where sometimes your players will just move out of the way when the ball rolls past you from a opponent's through ball especially when it's against players like Ronaldo and Benzema.

It's like you don't get total control of the player you're controlling.
 
Pro Evo used to be the best back in the PS2 days, why is Fifa considerd better these days? Iv not played any football games since the PS2, i am interested in this though!
 
FIFA 11 and 12 were the two games that got me back into FIFA, I was a PES fan before. Hopefully this new PES will be able to compete gameplay wise with FIFA. I felt like the ball movement was always too weird with the recent PES games.

I am a bit hacked off along with other fans, that EA have decided to shaft us PC gamers. I really don't want to resort to playing it on a console simply because they shafted PC gamers and because PES 2014 turned out to be no better than the last. Why is it so hard to port it over to the PC when they have managed to do it before? :rolleyes:
 
Could be the best game in the world but if the onlines laggy as it normally is it's doomed again.

I think people love their ultimate team too much and will get fifa over this anyway.

It's about piracy in their minds even though people buy fifa on pc because you HAVE to if you want multiplayer they seem to forget this for some reason.

Past PES games worked fine online with mods. they are local based meaning if you have a modded Arsenal team in your game with proper kits and names and i dont, on my screen i will see your team as london red with fake names whilst in your screen it will show you the modded arsenal team

That's great just what I wanted to hear. Looks like it's also pes14 for me this year.
I really hope fifa14 don't sell a single copy on pc.
 
You've got to be joking? Fifa 14 is using the old engine on PC and new engine on consoles on purpose? What is EA's problem, I doubt that M$ & Sony are paying them to do that so they are just trying their hardest to alienate this platform even more? Man, the things that company does... Them and Ubisoft both remind me of spoilt little toddlers who have no clue about anything tbh.

They did that with the current engine, its first on the consoles then comes on the pc after 1 0r 2 iterations. I am glad the old engine is on 14, hopefully it will make PES 14 more popular, plus the ignite engine looks like the same old rubbish.

because PES didn't really bother to get to grips with PS3/X360 and let the guards down, but Kei Masuda has said they will be rectifying this with the new engine and I have no doubts they will as it is has been developed by a man with passion backed by the awesomeness of Kojima-san, and not some committee only interested in money making aka EA.
 
Will be picking up the new PES.

I got bored a few iterations ago and have never played FIFA.

This year though I will be getting involved again.
