I've gone from PS4 to undecided. I'm not buying until well after the consoles and games have had thorough analysis from Digital Foundry as to which is performing better and been given real world use by others in the first few months. :p

We're not, I've already stated that, so feel free to drop it. For the last time, the new poll was done at the request of the forum members. I'll even link you to the post I made where I said I was happy to not do a new poll if you like?

The only way Xbox would "win" would be if the majority of members voted that way (which seems extremely unlikely). If things had changed so substantially why would you not want people to be able to express that in a poll?
 
No, I was being semi serious. Just because there are a few requests for a new poll doesn't mean it has to be done, you could have just said that you'll do a poll about it and then you could have done a mega thread with a new poll if the demand was there ;).
 
Slightly off topic but it's a X-console thread anyway.. has it been confirmed if the current headsets will work on the new consoles. At the moment I use Astro A50's with both the Xbox and PS3 and would like to use them on the PS4 and Xbone.. will be a waste if I can't :(
 
Ordered the PS4 back in July and will be standing by it. Microsoft have a long way to go before catching up on the value of PSN+

Looking forward to killzone

Then do what I suggested, add up pre orders from retailers for each console, as that better would represent the popularity.

I think the poll is so we can see who is going for which on this forum.

If you want pre-order numbers go find them yourself. Good luck.

I think having a poll about having a poll is going a bit too far :p
 
Still the PS4 for me. There's only Titanfall that interests me for X1 exclusives.
PS4 has Killzone, Infamous, Blacklight, The Order 1887 plus whatever other games Sony first party studios are working on.
Although I won't be getting a console til next Feb/March.

Same i know you would need a chat adapter for the Xbone but i believe a standard 3.5mm chat cable will work on PS4.

I suppose I'm missing why you think having a poll is inherently a bad thing, it's not like it takes up any more space, time or effort than a "mega thread" or any other kind of post. If you don't like it or are not interested then you don't post I suppose much like any other thread. I don't think it's Davey worried about who "wins" polls, I suspect that may be a little closer to home. ;) :D

Sorry for the derail but I thought Davey was getting some unfair stick bless his cotton socks ;) (yes, yes, suck up etc :) )

That's the beauty of opinions, only one of those PS4 games you mentioned interest me, and that's inFamous. The Order could be interesting as well but I'd want to see more from it before I decide :)
 
Has anyone else heard about the PS4 bundle? Console, Camera, Killzone & two controllers and it's still cheaper than the xbox one & FIFA bundle (which includes the camera and one controller) :o.

Apparently there will be a cheap(ish) adapter for Xbox to allow existing headsets to work. Not sure about PS4 but I'm sure someone closer to what's going on there can let you know, i'd be surprised if there wasn't an adapter or way of getting it working though.
