That's a little different to purposefully buying 5 PS4s now with the sole intention of selling them on for profit. If it was just one console he was selling, because he'd pre-ordered 2 to make sure he got them, then I wouldn't have a real problem with it. The fact that he's intentionally buying them to sell for a profit is what doesn't sit right with me.

It's foolish because he's either looking to intentionally get a rise out of people, or is so hopelessly naive that he thinks he's going to be applauded for it.

Enough with the abstract comparisons please. We're talking about buying a quantity of a new-release console that is in short supply with the sole intention of immediately selling it back to the people who want it, at an artificially inflated price. They're not concert tickets, they're not collectibles, they're not precious metals or rare space rocks. Games consoles.

He's as much within his rights to do it as I am to disagree with it.

And no matter how much you berate him he's not going to cancel them, fact I'd see him more likely posting a picture of the cash he got selling them lol
 
Who is he trolling? Surely the only people who would be annoyed will be those that don't have a console for launch, and everyone in here should have one guaranteed for launch (no money up front + months to order = no excuse)

I think they need to show us why its a necessary purchase - right now Im kinda fed up investing in things on their potential. Im only interested in voice comms to be fair and any type of head tracking.

Actually scrap that - Id rather save the £45 and put it toward an Oculus Rift! Really hope that comes out and works on the PS4 (and glasses :p)

they will come bundled with a game for much cheaper in 6-12 months time i bet or even just drop in price.

or even pick one up on holiday for cheap.

i have video calling on my tv and never use it.

i have 2 tablets and a smartphone for video calling, that i can carry about with me whilst calling, which is better.

how does it improve in game chat? surely a headset is better?

I did have one of these on pre-order but cancelled it recently due to the lack of games that interest me. I will definitely buy one though in the future though once the game catalogue grows.
