Pandora bracelets

I bought the other half the version from Links of London a few years back, it now has loads of various charms... the thing must be worth a fortune now!

My sis in law loves them but she didnt buy her bracelet or charms that she has now, was bought as a xmas present from a few of her students as she is a teacher. But shes got quite a collection now along with her designer handbags and shoes..

Girl friend loves them and so does most of the women in my family. There a nice little stocking filler or an add on to a present. Some of the charms are good, i.e a hot air balloon charm to remember when the girl friend went in a hot air balloon with her mum.

I personally don't see what all the fuss is but it keeps the women happy, that's the important thing.

My girlfriend loves hers. She wears it quite a lot, and gets new charms for special occasions from her family. E.g. graduation hat charm when she graduated, stocking charm for christmas etc

Thoughts on?

It's our anniversary this weekend and the wife mentioned many moons ago she quite liked them but it was only passing conversation.

Don't fancy shelling out on if she's not going to wear it.

If you buy her one;

- It's an easy purchase moving forward to bdays/xmas/anniversary etc, stuck for options? Just get another charm alongside the normal chocolates/card/flowers.
- Get it insured :p

I say go for it!

My wife has one and really likes it.

To be honest like any high street jewellery the price you pay and the actual amount it is worth are poles apart. If you want better value for money you buy jewellery from a pawn brokers.

However for my wife her charms represent something personal to her. For example she has a frog prince charm. When we went for our first scan for our son I commented on how he looked exactly like frogger in the scan picture. So he was called frog whilst she was carrying him.

They're terrible and terribly common which is not surprising given the price tag but the (now not so common) fashionability of them was at the time quite unusual.

They deffo common. Most of my female colleagues have 'em. One of their charms broke after only 4 weeks as well.

Common as muck.

The question is "Nothing oozes class quite so much as a"

Am I right!?

^^^this

In the other thread a few people got a bit butt hurt by suggestions these things were a bit tacky

Guys love it because : cheap and easy to buy; no effort involved (aka I can't be bothered)

Girls love it because : That bitch in Accounting has FOUR charms! WHY DON'T YOU LOVE ME AS MUCH AS HER BOYFRIEND LOVES HER?!

Stay classy :)

Jeez classic charm bracelet x100. Which celeb started to wear these when they were fashionable? is everyone a gypsy these days?

Winning formula for sure 200 for a chain then mix and match for a ton extra.

Well chaps big thumbs up.

Bought her the plain bracelet with three charms, one with gold writing of Mum and some tiny diamonds ditto one with Dad (she lost both her parents last year within three months) and one with two rings in gold and a diamond where the diamond of the ring would be.

There's an obvious difference between the real tacky chams that dangle and drip and the slim less obvious quality ones. Managed to get a bit of a deal on the lot as they were all quite a bit but win win.

That's Christmas and Birthdays from me and the kids sorted now for a few years, only query I had was with a few more bits on it it'll be quite costly to replace in full, may have to think if it's covered on home insurance.
