Thanks you. The video was never going to have the sort of evidence I was after i.e. a lit review

A literature review is a perfectly acceptable source of information. I wasn't disregarding anything, I just wanted to understand the body of evidence to have an informed opinion on the subject.

My degree in computer science from Southampton obviously isnt enough to understand that though.

Yes of course they should be outlawed but they wont be because the Majority of them are in NATOs hands and they are incredibly effective weapons.
They are used in theatres of war far far away, so what if a few hundred foreign kids get born disfigured. Their use probably saved the lives of countless soldiers.
I dont really know how you can argue that DU should be used if there is a viable alternative, has one been developed yet??

Hmm news article (New Scientist) here says ia penetrator of similar density can be achieved with a "liquid" tungsten alloy. It is very old 2003. I wonder if this was ever given the go ahead.
