Activision games are on sale this weekend on Steam. It had made me look at the prices they charge. Even reduced I can't bring myself to view any of them as good value. What is it with Activision? Why do they think they can charge a premium that other companies can't?
Prototype - released 4 years ago. Price :£14.99 reduced to £5.09 on sale
- OK - the reduced price I would consider. £14.99 though after 4 years?
Call of Duty - well these prices are just bonkers.
COD 4 - 6 years old and still £19.99 - £14.99 in the sale
Black Ops - 3 years old and still £39.99 - £29.99 in the sale
Call of Duty - 10 years old and still £14.99 - £11.24 in the sale
Vampire Bloodlines : 9 years old and £14.99 - £11.24 in the sale
Even EA don't have the nerve to charge these sort of prices for old games.
