I'd normally write this off as a load of crap, but quite a few people on that thread say they have the Retail version (I assume American) and that the game plays much differently. But then someone from EA says there hasn't been a patch to address any issues yet, but one is coming.

He says how finesse and headers are toned down, and dribbling is better.

To be honest, the only thing I want to change is heading accuracy, lobbed through ball accuracy, and finesse.

I haven't read the entire thread yet, but the OP seems a bit 'special' so I wouldn't read too much into it. :p

Oh, FIFA 14 is out for iOS today as well, and it's free (you have to buy addons and stuff).

Yeah I thought that too, but there are 2 other people as well who back him up. Maybe placebo effect.

Would be better if you could select the drop down of Gold Silver Bronze to IF/Black. So you could skim through informs faster, or be more specific rather than pulling up all variants.

Having the top tier players at the start is a ruiner for me tbh, I prefer to start off with an ok team and work my way up, despite what some people think :p

I think my first 50+ matches last year were with my Bronze Eredivise and A-League teams, they were fun!

It's always better with just an average team, you don't feel the pressure and it doesn't feel as bad to lose.

Same for me. Will start out with an average gold team and bronze team for rotation and slowly build my teams up.
 
Dan... im Mirin' i havent even started FUT yet and stuff like this makes me worried and jelly. Buying the players now would certainly be better than waiting for the massive increase when it gets properly released.

I'll pepper my angus ready for teams like that.

Yeah I spent a bit, pulled some decent players in packs though!

Got a few teams on the go, trying to figure out what works best for me at the moment o:
 
I spent £20 or whatever it is for the max number of points and got about 250k worth of stuff. Better than my usual luck!

Re-invested into a Serie A team and got 100k spare.

Not sure I like the formation to be honest. Need to give it more time though as I'm just not very good at the game yet :D.

Have Palacio CAM in my Club so may switch it to 4231 and go:

Honestly, Balo is immense... Got him cheapish (for the moment!) at 35k. As he's a cult hero I'm hoping his price won't drop too much when people start pack spamming. Other than getting Chiellini that team is pretty much the best players in Serie A (with 4 at the back) so nowhere to go with it so I'll probably keep it for the long run.

I probably play more Clubs than I do UT, Co-op seasons is also fantastic :D
