Another 680 or Maxwell?

One of my stock 680 is busted recently and I've been wondering if I should get a new one now that most of them have dropped below 300 pounds. Or should I be waiting for a ETA for Maxwell instead?

Any help would be appreciated.

See what AMD have to offer in their statements released later today.

Even if you are staunch Nvidia, it could bring prices of the 780 down (though I doubt it) but no real harm in waiting :)

Ok....

With the 'RMA' gang aside, what I would like to know is whether the OC/SC versions of the 680 are worth getting, saying that I don't want to wait for a month or so.

I'm not running a fancy monitor, just a 1080p @ 60Hz 23" one. But I do enjoy having high quality graphics.

The 680 is still a great card and worth it for your screen. Plenty of deals about for OC cards and SC cards but most stock cards can reach these clocks with overclocking software, so to the question of "is it worth it?" I say no.

Yea sadly stock version are no longer available apart from secondhand ones, never have trusted them.
