Capital One Cup - Second Round 24/25 September *** Spoilers ***

That'll do nicely, it wasn't a great performance but it was promising in places.

To win against a near full strength Liverpool team having made 8 changes made it even better. :)

Completely different Liverpool to the league game. A win we needed and a so-so performance. Why Giggs wasn't taken off I'll never know, we needed fresh legs in that last 20.

Does anyone know what Zaha has done to Moyes? 15m signing, great preseason then he's just been shunned completely, not even a sub appearance, really odd

That'll do.

Given Giggs started in the middle and I don't recall us winning or even putting in any sort of performance that resembles a team of 11 professional footballers I'm quite pleasantly surprised.

In terms of the personnel, Kagawa had a terribly poor first half but improved in the second. Not sure how him and Rooney in the same side is really going to go to be honest, they want to occupy the same space a lot of the time.

Nani should be replacing Young from now on at least, that's a certainty though. Positive to see Rafael back too and glad Chico got a goal.

Time to address the problem that is Gerrard. Can't play further forward because he hasn't got the legs and doesn't do enough to help Lucas or the defence.

Two garbage teams playing garbage football. Neither have got a hope in hell of winning anything this season.

No idea why the Buttner one wasn't a pen, he turned and got completely cleaned out by the Liverpool player

I loved the Liverpool player down the right towards the end feigning injury until Rooney came near him with the ball when he suddenly sprung up and made a very fast recovery :D

Wenger didn't look at all pleased when we scored..... was quite odd, wonder if he just wants us to lose or was unhappy two players he seems to not want involved in the first team were involved.

Oh, Bendtner assist by the way and Eisfeld with nicely taken goal, looking pretty tired at this point 80 mins in, no changes(unless some happened in the last couple mins I missed) for a mostly not match fit team. Akpom and even Park(lol) on the bench, but Wenger really hasn't seemingly tried to make changes to win the game. Taking off Eisfeld just now for Akpom in the 82minute.
