UPDATED STORY:

A spokesman from ebay has made a statement to Fairfax, saying that “The person who owned that account never made the listing.” It was a hoax, and there were also “irregularities” in the anonymous bids, so apparently we don’t live in a world where four One Direction tickets can sell for over $40,000 after all.

That is all I thought as I read it.
All the spiel about her daughter and her friends should have been directed directly at her daughter (and not as poorly worded as this either) not via an online auction.

Or maybe it was just to get more money for the tickets ho hum.
 
She sounds like a horrendous attention-whore, great way to make your daughters rebel even further.

I believe in strict repercussions but this is an awful way to handle it. She sounds like a right chav.
