My two teams. Not sure about Lukaku, at first I really liked him but now he's frustrating me somewhat. Was going to try Benteke maybe?

The Brazil team is a fitness one although I'm really enjoying using it.



 
Not bought Fifa on consoles for a few years. Planning on getting it for PS4 launch, but had wee mad urge there to buy it on PS3 for a wee shot tonight, but couldnt be bothered going out to get it so thought... ahhh the ps store.

£59.99 :O

Needless to say, I will not be playing Fifa on PS3 as it would have simply been an impulse buy to tide me over til end of November. They must lose out on so many digital sales with that level of pricing! Mental.

you seem to have fallen into the pace > def + heading for a CB which was what was true for fifa 13

imo pace is still important but not so much, i mean in 13 i would go for 75 pace minimum for a CB.

in 13 it's 65 pace minimum with a minimum of 81 for both heading and defence.

are you finding you are losing a lot of goals to header's and from corners?

well thats because your CB's have poor heading stat's.


try out, benatia, campagnaro, mexes, barzagli, etc for serie A

godin, pepe, puyol, pique, etc for liga bbva

jagielka, vertonghen and verminator, etc for BPL
 
Hi all I had a liga bbva ultimate team in 13 and trying to decide on how to out together a new different team in 14. I never spend real money on packs. Any tips on a change? Was originally thinking German but unsure. I play 5-2-1-2 btw
 
I just got my best pack I have ever had in fifa !!!! Like ever ! TOTW Baines and Suarez :D time to make a BPL squad I think. Got about 90k so that should net me a fairly decent squad.
 
Pulled some decent players in packs today! Eto which I already had so sold him and also TOTW Baines which I sold too.

Had some bad games with 4-1-2-1-2 formation on this fifa, not really liking it much. Right now I'm on a 13 win spree with 3-4-3. Looking for some CM players who would you guys suggest to add?

first of all forget everything you know about 13, as well as how you used to play it and what formation you used.

e.g. i used 5221 in 13, i now use 4231 in 14.

i used to use guy's like kaboul in 13, i now use guy's like Godin in 14.

etc, etc.

i haven't built a german team but i could spec you Serie A team, it's my speciality.

CB's - IF Campagnaro, Chiellini, Barzagli, Campagnaro, Benatia, Mexes

those are the top 6 CB's in Serie A and in that order.

LB - Radu

RB - Konko

CDM's - De Rossi, De Jong, Cambiasso are the best and in that order

CM's - too many to choose from, good cheap options are Behrami and Inler, best is probably Vidal and Marchisio iirc.

LM - Lulic is a brilliant cheap option

RM - Candreva is a brilliant cheap option

ST - Milito is a brilliant all rounder

I have Lucio in defence how could I possibly going for pace :p

I only built the Brazil team as I got a few of them in packs, there's still plenty of times where I get through clean on goal because of pace so it's still important anyway.

I haven't conceded one corner, in fact I don't think I've conceded a headed goal.

I've lost once online in 13 games so I don't need to change anything at the moment.

Tbh you would be mad to exclude Caceres. He is insanely good. Wack a sentinel chemistry card on him and you have a solid fast defender.
 
I swear EA hate me when it comes to packs. I got a tenner (well 9.75) worth of packs. I got some decent players like Jovetic and Eriksen but no IF player. In fact I haven't had any IF players in pack since FIFA 11. Has anybody had worse luck than me in this?

Ha! I did the exact same tonight.

I've had a few beers and thought, sod it I'll buy FIFA on PSN. I'm not drunk enough to pay £59.99 for one game though.

Your joking right ??? The guy has 92 jumping ! Without any chem card attached to him plus along with 75 strength which is good enough, M/H work rates.... You can't ask for more from a defender.

He has been an absolute solid defender for me in the 10+ games I've used him. I wouldn't even consider swapping him out.
 
think the market has crept up a little bit last couple of days

i can also see a bit of a boost when the next gen comes out because its coming free on xbox and also a lot of people would not have bought fifa on 360 if they are getting it free on xbox one
