Is there a Land Rover/4x4/Offroaders thread?

Love the articulation vid, nothing like a bit of flex!

Is that Yarwell?

Weston Coyney P&P (Tick Hill Quarry) its in Staffordshire on the A50.

Im running Koni +2 Heavy Track, Flatdog Std Height/Weight Springs, Dislocation cones on the rear and std height skeleton shock turrets. Im thinking about any upgrade to heavier springs to cope with the extra weight ive added :p

Struggle to find some medium range shocks for the D2. It's either budget ranges like Britpart or Terrafima, or spend 4 x times as much for OME. Will be a while yet before I lift, but Koni seems worth a try imo.

It's not got 4wheel drive, but it does pretty well off road.

We need more recent pictures of your misses posing with your beasty!

The last picture I've got with her anywhere near the car, she was 8 months pregnant. Not quite so glamorous.

The Bajas been a bit updated since though.

Just a quick one for you Landy fans - thinking of buying a Disco 2 TD5 manual for the winter.

Any particular reason I shouldn't? :)
Always fancied one, and it'd be fun to do a bit of off roading.

If you are half decent with the spanners then I'm sure it'll be fine.
There is loads that does go wrong though :D

Oh and a little trip i did last Wet season in my previous Hilux :)

2013 Hilux D4D
Supplied by work and set up more as a tourer more than a mud weapon. Got tired of having to get mud out of the rear brake drums after every trip.

Nice water run!

Plenty of water out on the plains this weekend, plenty of mud too!

Well, my Defender was stolen about a month ago, finally got the insurance payout and have replaced it with...

Went on a load of green laning days as a teenager with my old man, driving my fathers Land Rover Series 2a where I could. My father is driving this one that comes down the hill;

We also had a Sept 2005 Land Rover Defender Double Cab, which was epic off road, too. Had tonnes of holidays in it;

Here they are together;

Unfortunately they are both gone now, my parents being in their sixties mean they are after something a bit more comfortable so dad bought a Merc C Class a year ago. I know he is still pining to get back into one of these though!
