Well that bodes well for our title hopes. No midfield, played crap and won with the help of Howard Webb
Sunderland played well and should have more than enough to avoid relegation but our quality in the final third won us the game today. Midfield of Lucas, Gerrard and Henderson was abysmal and both Lucas and Gerrard looked shattered after 60 minutes so with Lucas out of the next game it'll be interesting to see how Gerrard and Henderson play.

Big decision for Rodgers at the back soon. When Johnson returns he'll slot straight back in at right back which'll free up Toure for CB again where he's excelled so far. Going to be hard to justify dropping Sakho given how much he cost and how quick he's slotted in to the team and Skrtel looks very comfortable next to him. Dare I say Agger could find it very hard to win his place back.

You don't like Gerrard but he's the only player bar Sturridge and Suarez who actually has some composure about, I'd really dread to think how you'd cope without him, plus the fact he does have a very big influence on the side will benefit the rest of the team. His long range passing can be hit and miss but his technique is still miles better than what you have available.
