Weidenfeller is the best keeper I have seen in 14 yet. He is just so tough to beat. Buffon seems kinda weak this year with his poor reflex (80), last year it was 86.. Neuer isn't as good but he is still really good. Neither worth the price tag though when you can get Adler/Weidenfeller/Marchetti/De Sanctis.

I had Benteke for a few games and didn't rate him... he scored a couple of headers, but I try not to cross, and his ball control felt really poor for me.

Looking to get IF Pedro today and possibly Diego Costa (as Gameiro is crap) before making the switch to Benzema.

Best keeper I've used yet is Courtois, with the glove trait he is able to keep hold of a lot of balls that would usually be rebounds. That being said, Cech won me a couple of games too.
 
I don't understand why Lewandoski is so expensive anyways ?! I had him for a few games I really wanted to like him but he just never seemed to get involved at all. He just seemed to vanish to god knows where. I sold him on and made a nice tidy profit on him.

My biggest profit was Isco though. Bought a couple in the early access for 8k. Now he sells for like 30k + :eek: very strange because I didn't even think he was that good either. Maybe his IF is better but his normal card just felt meh to me.

By far my favorite player to use so far has been Suarez. Such an amazing CF in a false 9 his dribbling is exceptional and pulling off skill moves seem to work a treat with him. Mirallas has also been exceptional especially for a non rare and can be picked up quite cheap.

I've got two teams I'm happy with and am enjoying. So now I am trading and playing to save coins for a Ronaldo :) I never got one last year but I want one for this year !
 
im so tempted to sell my 360 games and just buy FIFA 14 to put me on until the PS4 then get the PS4 version, realistically its a stupid decision but its killing me.

I know what you mean. I got lucky and picked him up for 22k before his IF was announced, sold him at the weekend for around 60k. Tried a few games with him and just didn't like him at all, plus with 3* weak foot and 3* skill moves I just didn't get on with him. His IF does look good though.

Picked up IF Pedro and IF Baines, looking to make this team, but not sure if I won't have enough people with high defensive work rate:

Ronaldo - Benzema - IF Pedro
Ramires - Modric - Song
IF Baines - David Luiz - Pepe - Carvajal
Cech
 
Got to the point that I have 3 good teams want to build 3 more but one player would ideally place in 2 of them.

Think I will leave Brazil until they have an IF keeper.

So bundesliga and France next for me.

Ligue one has crappy cb's this year only silva is decent
 
I really can't defend in this game, at all. :confused:

Is legacy defending available online or something, people just run at me like steam trains :(
 
Do you think Neymar's price will rise? I hit him in a pack a couple of days ago and undecided to sell now or wait. He is amazing though.

And Lima the Brazilian ST is the best player i've used so far.

I know right. Can't really justify spending anything on packs though when I'm going to have to start again on next gen. :rolleyes:

Really? I've put together an Argentinian team which works wonderfully for less than 10k :)

Mercado--Coloccini--Samuel--Ansaldi

Cambiasso--Gago

D'Alessandro--Riquelme--Montillo

Scocco

D'Alessandro, Riquelme and Scocco are ridiculous for their prices. Riquelme picks someone out with every through ball, and his free kicks are insane.

You're moving from 360 to PS4 I assume? I'm going from 360 to XB1 so spending the money would be fine as I can transfer everything over. It's just I'm finding it hard to justify spending money on packs when I'm saving for the XB1.

I was using the 4-2-3-1 (2) formation and not getting on with it. I moved back to my old 4-1-2-1-2 formation in my last game before bed and enjoyed it more, so perhaps I just need to give myself more time. I think just coming from the teams I had on Fifa 13 it's just a bit of a step down! :)
 
Fifa 14 Career Mode Division 2 Budget Player Buys

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has a good list of Division 2 budget players? I'm playing as Portsmouth (Obviously taking them back to the prem).

Any recommendations?

I didn't budget for packs either :p
 
I really can't defend, no idea what I'm doing wrong but my players are just stood there getting in each others way and when I take control of a defender I miss the tackle 80% of the time =.=

Haha, exactly the same here man. I don't think I've had a clean sheet in my past 10 games or more :D Other peoples defenders run me over and take the ball with insane pace and strength. Oh and if I happen to get through, they just pull me down from behind and the referee does nothing. :confused:
