This is why I haven't bought packs, I did the same in 13, had an excellent record with a cheap BPL side then got drawn into wanting the best players and my record turned to crap, and because I'd paid real money to have them it would anger me.

I have Hernanes as my CAM and he is better than Hamsik and Diamanti for me having a 5* weak footed player at a CAM is amazing. His passing is great as well as being able to wack long shots no matter where he is on the field. Also De Rossi has been an absolute boss for me as my sole CDM :)

I guess it all comes down to how you play though. My serie A team is a 41212(2) which is fairly narrow.

edit: re expensive players, while I agree for most players there are the select few where I think really deserve the coinage. Suraez who sells for ~60-70k is deffo worth it imo, he just shines so much for me. Last year Ribery and Robben were just absolutely amazing and from what I saw of Ronaldo I can imagine him being worth the cost. But there are a bunch of players that sell for crap loads and still are awful imo.

what formation(s) are you guys having best results with...

Tempted try Suarez at ST, do I get him now or wait to see if he makes totw on Wednesday? not that I could afford his IF..

I aslo think his nif will rise if he gets an IF (NIF aguero's price has gone up lots since his IF)
 
I really can't wait for them to nerf heading. Cup game 4-2 to opponent 2 goals from corners 2 goals from crosses and headers. Oh and apparently Hernandez can out jump and out muscle Vertonghen....
