Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Sniping is weird, I'm so used to leading targets and despite where the "smoke" trail goes, I get better hits when aiming on a person, it's as if there's no travel time.
Oh and I was on 320.18 drivers and it ran fine enough, upgraded to latest and it was horribly stuttering, so rolled back.

I couldn't figure out sniping except for very close range.

Fail.

Just great

Lets hope DICE fixes that!

What about vehicle to infantry balance so far? Sounds like aircraft shouldn't be as much of a problem from what westie said there

I can put a fullscreen map on my second monitor and see every single spotted player/vehicle and think well ahead of where I want to go without it cluttering my main screen.

True, but you could do that in bf 3 as well except it would be on the main screen :p

It might seem like an advantage at first having it solely on one screen, however, you will have to take your eyes of the main screen and so could get killed easily during that second or two, it happens to me sometimes when I look at the minimap and that is just on the bottom left of the screen...

And regarding that....

What is spotting like now? Especially with the attack heli., tanks etc.? Toned back like what lvlcap said?

RPGs are awesome nexus they are so fast... took out few helis with them and vehicle vs vehicle battles are so epic

love it so far

So you got your broadband sorted out Westie Nice one. :)

I've had three games and done nothing but die so far; well I got one kill and that was road kill in a jeep thingy. :D

Can anyone playing the closed beta give me some of the plus points to bf4 vs bf3 please ?

Not wanting to diss it jst yet but want a good idea of positives before I pre order or not ?

Honestly Nexus, it's not that complicated at all, you barely need to glance at the screen to see there's someone around a corner or something, or a tank waaaay down a street about to come around a corner for you to shoot.
I played BF3 with expanded minimap early on, you have an outright advantage. I prefered no spotting/no minimap spotting though and the only reason I did that was because you'd be silly not to when everyone else had the option :P

As for vehicles, same old same old vs infantry, they own them.
Helos in this map are amazing and overpowered since they have incredible amounts of building cover.

was hoping to try some of the other modes like tdm maybe in the beta but someone from EA just told me that they wont be in the beta :(.
