damn, forgot to start my download overnight !

sounds like a mixed bag of opinions so far, still if it's smooth and playable on release it's surely worth £20-30 for the hours you get out of it.

Getting about 15fps on Ultra everything, about 25 on high. Hard to judge as afterburner doesnt work with it.

It seems really cartoony compared to BF3.

Hitreg is all over the place and as usual all the campers are behind your spawns.

RPGs in bf 3 were sooooooooo slow, I actually think a tortoise could move faster

Can you spot (3d spotting system) anywhere as much as easily when in the vehicle/heli?

What about this new vehicle damage system i.e. the critical hit and vehicle regen. no matter the health %, annoying or actually better?

I played BF3 with expanded minimap early on, you have an outright advantage. I prefered no spotting/no minimap spotting though and the only reason I did that was because you'd be silly not to when everyone else had the option

As for vehicles, same old same old vs infantry, they own them.
Helos in this map are amazing and overpowered since they have incredible amounts of building cover.

Saying that, I will probably go back to playing hardcore mode as the "main" reason I didn't play hc in BF 3 was due to the stupid suppression system.....

What about the Ac130, is it still a pita?

It really feels like BF4 has gone backwards, it looks and feels much more like MOH than BF3! And I dislike this greatly.

I prefer BF4 to every other BF game so far, although I did really like the new MOH and always preferred cod to bf..

So far the hit reg. sounds amazing but I bet you any money that it won't be as good in the final game, it was the same with the bf 3 alpha/beta, amazing hit reg. but worse in the final version

There's a hell of a lot of camping on rooftops on that map, odds are if you're being shot at its from above.

I just nail them with the chopper gun, job sorted, really enjoyed flying the choppers.

No HC mode in beta which sucks.

As soon as I seen that map I knew that would be a problem

Just like markiz monolith in bf 3, that map is superb in terms of design but ruined by the players who do that

DICE should have implemented a system where if you weren't in a vehicle or parachuting down then you should be out of bounds.

Do you have a CLAN starting on BF4? I could do with moving CLAN in BF3 too! DESPERATELY!!!

Have to say I enjoyed heli-gunnig and taking the top of the collapsible skyscraper to task, like shooting fish in a barrel. Had a nice 30 kill streak last game, gonna take a while to adjust to the ammo system.

While flying around earlier it seemed there was a ton of sniping being done from the rooftops, 2 or 3 snipers on around 9 buildings. Littlebird mows them down with ease.

One thing I have found weird is it seems to take more hits to take someone down with say a .50MG than it does an smg in some cases, had a few occasions where I've hit someone 4 or 5 times from range with a 50 cal and its not killed them.
