im just going to give my own opinion after 1 hour.

I haven't enjoyed gameplay , squad gameplay with pubs as much in my entire years of gaming online.

This has a BF2 first time i saw Gulf of Oman feel to it and i love it . Quality squad makes this much more enjoyable

Anyone notice that the rpg seems to fire ABOVE where you're aiming at? Its almost like as soon as you fire it the projectile is about a foot or so above the launching point.

Its not bullet drop I'm talking about, sometimes it appears to fire out of the top of the weapon like its hopping up higher than you intend causing it to miss targets.

The Zavvi advert clearly states with the description tab you get Premium and China Rising.

They changed it

Seen someone say you can lock on with an rpg, not sure how that's meant to work. Sniper with soflam equipped?

The DMRs (semi auto sniper rifles) are now an all class weapon.

Server side registry for you I am afraid

All* MP games use server side hit registry (some use methods like backwards reconciliation with client data) - server being non-authoritative on that makes it too exploitable. Most other games manage to handle that aspect a lot better.

BF has always had that problem of emptying half a dozen bullets into someone and they still turn around and kill you with a couple of shots - much of the reason I lost interest in BF2 and haven't played it since - I did just get the BF4 beta in the hope they'd finally caught up on the "netcode" side of it



* Has been the odd game or mod that uses pure client side registry but thats just poor programming.

I think people would rather spend their time testing and playing the game than uploading screenshots to a thread where most people are playing the game anyway...

Playing it with every setting maxed out now on Ultra, game looks pretty PRO and I am not getting any slowdowns.

New cpu time for me.

I7 920 and crossfire 7970s and I'm getting lows as much as 45fps.

Game was horrible with me with SLI until I updated the drivers and now it's great.

What a pile of Don't swear!

Mouse works fine in EVERYTHING else even in the BF4 menus.

Key bindings 100% correct.

In game I can't shoot at all. LMB is not recognised.

I'm having to play on Med/Low due to the occasional stuttering but apart from that I'm really enjoying it. I've not had any problems with hit detection and it feels pretty easy to kill someone at the moment - although maybe the AK-12 is a bit of a monster at the moment?

I'm playing with a 770 so it's a little frustrating having the graphics so low but I'm sure there's going to be a few fixes to aid performance. That and I'm thinking my CPU is bottlenecking somewhat.
