Is 4222 any good this year ? I always thought it asked to much of the CAMs , more so if the other player played attacking as they get pulled back

I loved 4222 last year. Made a team with it this year and sold it after about 5 games, it was horrible.

That said, I think it's all about the workrate - when the opponent has the ball, you want your CAMs pulling back into midfield, and when you have the ball it's great if they make runs all over the place. Micolli last year at CAM was disgusting, would pop up everywhere. I'll make a team with better players in 4222 when I get the coins/time this season, but at the moment I'm happy with 4231!

How does 4321/433 stack up this year ? Was great last year , in the future thinking Ronnie - Bale - ******

I've played a good 20 or so games with 4222, I found it to be good but reliant on the CAM's to either hold up the ball and wait for runs, or be able to consistently beat a man.

433 I'm loving so far, always been one of my favourite formations. Currently using the one with 2 CDM's and switch to the one with a CAM and 2 CM's if I'm down at half time.

My favourite formation so far. I have Palacio and Hamsik as CAMs with Di Nat and Balo at ST.

4231 is also very good but I would feel like Di Natale was a little wasted there.

topher - haha yeah Miccoli at LCAM in a 4231 last year was stupidly good. So cheap as well! Mini Di Natale

How do you all deal with being one on one with the keeper? Finesse shot? blast it? round him? I'm finding a lot of people trying to bring their keeper out this time around and I am rubbish at scoring past them!
 
If they bring their keeper out, finesse it. If they bring their keeper out as you're about to receive an over the top ball, lob them, the chips you can do on the volley are really good.
 
So far yes finesse that said most don't go round the keeper if he's coming out and he gets a Leg on it or something.

I've also took the keeper in had him clatter me and not been given a penalty so frustrating
