Budget Gaming Rig

Hi Guys,

Im after some advice on a budge gaming rig for a friend. This is just for the system its self no peripherals or monitor needed.

Games likely to be played are WOW, BF4 and maybe a couple of titles from steam.

There are some old bits from his old PC but reckon most of it should just be binned. As for a budget he didnt say he just asked me to look for something that could play those games to a decent standard. Any ideas of the price range of a pc that can actually play BF4 so it will be playable?

What settings? Medium? High? Ultra?

What resolution is he playing at?

Even a vague budget would be helpful.. £300-£500, £500-£800, £800-£1000 or anywhre in between?

Does it have to include the OS?

£300 isn't going to be possible for BF4 either way.

I already have an OS. And budget is a hard one to give if thats the case just need a machine that can play BF on average settings so the game is comfortable to play and not jumping around.

This is about the minimum I'd go for. It'd give very good performance on BF4, but it's difficult to cut anything back without causing a big drop in performance.
