KFC noob advice

Do fast food places like kfc have a license to stay open as long as they like?

When I've been to towns at night and seen a kfc they seem to keep it open for as long as theres drunkards coming in to buy food.

Are they allowed to do this and is this something unique that kfc does?

No, they just choose to ignore the law, and the old bill don't mind as it gives em somewhere to get their chicken and chips when they're on the night shift.

What's not fair about local or regional pricing?

Well regional pricing is understandable to a point given the differences in labour costs but charging more at service stations is nothing more than profiteering. They don't pay their staff any more than the high street ones and the mark up is purely down to having a captive market.

Well it wouldn't be a criminal law thing anyway would it? Rather a civil licensing issue (hence a council rather than a police matter).

Most fast-food restaurants do this in clubbing locations from MaccyD/BK to the family run kebab house.

Didnt think you could get the bucket on its own, thought you had to get a bunch of chips/drinks/crap etc with it.

Dunno what kind of selection they have at KFC as I usually buy the same thing every time but its pretty easy to spend £20 for one person let alone 5 there :|

Maybe. An after hours pub is a criminal issue thought isn't it?

Technically I don't think it is, the police just kick up a fuss because it's them that has to clean up the fallout of further drinking. You don't really get more fighting/disorder due to fast food restaurants opening longer than they should.

£20 for one person, sorry but unless you admit exaggeration you must be a pretty fat slob.

I can make a large 3 piece variety meal (around £6.50) make me last two meals!

* 1 Piece, mini-fillet, two hot wings and half the large chips
* 2 Pieces and the rest of the chips

:D

12 piece boneless meal and then a few sides should cover you, depends on how much they can put away before claiming to be full.

A 12 piece boneless box to feed 5 people? Wat? I can do 16 piece ones by myself.

KFC isn't particularly cheap, and boneless boxes aren't *that* big.

You shouldn't use your own eating habits to criticise others.

What you've described is basically a snack.
