Found this a tad comical, perhaps others will too, as mentioned in my new car thread my old Supra TT died the day after getting it's MOT and a set of new front discs/pads, it suffered a ruptured turbo water pipe and blew its head gasket on the motorway back in July and so I sent it to the breakers as the engine is the most valuable part of a Supra and the cost of fixing it plus the likely turbo damage made it not worth repairing (as it also needed some expensive rust repair and paintwork doing).
I guess it didn't stay at the breakers as I noticed today that it's appeared on eBay (complete with well written advert
), not being sold by the breaker I sold it to, and it seems to have acquired some aftermarket alloys, some ricey gauges, and a single turbo conversion. However according to the description the water system is still being pressurized, the car still needs a new roof, and there's no mention of the damage to the steering wheel caused by my disability hand controls
