Found this a tad comical, perhaps others will too, as mentioned in my new car thread my old Supra TT died the day after getting it's MOT and a set of new front discs/pads, it suffered a ruptured turbo water pipe and blew its head gasket on the motorway back in July and so I sent it to the breakers as the engine is the most valuable part of a Supra and the cost of fixing it plus the likely turbo damage made it not worth repairing (as it also needed some expensive rust repair and paintwork doing).

I guess it didn't stay at the breakers as I noticed today that it's appeared on eBay (complete with well written advert :P), not being sold by the breaker I sold it to, and it seems to have acquired some aftermarket alloys, some ricey gauges, and a single turbo conversion. However according to the description the water system is still being pressurized, the car still needs a new roof, and there's no mention of the damage to the steering wheel caused by my disability hand controls :P

I still have a huge soft spot for these, its funny when you see your own car back up for sale and the buyer not listing any of the issues which you know are definitely there! i flogged my s2k for basically pocket change, it was a nail, it was on ebay and gumtree the next day after having nothing more than a good clean - for 3k more than he paid me :D got to love a chancer

still a lot of car for the money!

I think the guy is foreign based on his name.

Looks like the usual "interesting car with yet another owner doing their bit to ruin it'

Naths classic dual Supra photo taken at the only angle not showing damage on the NA.

Nice try O'Connor.

Shame it blew up, I do like a nice UK spec Supra.

Those gauges he has added are absolute crap, available for £15 on ebay. I bought a bunch of them to take apart and integrate into a cluster but they were all at least 20% out on the true values.

How much did the breakers give you? Presumably 50 pence?

Are you sure you're not a tad bitter because you couldn't be bothered to get a new head gasket and a pipe?

How likely is it he'll get 5k for that anyway? I have no idea how much Supra's go for these days.

ignoring the bad writing and issues he hasnt mentioned.. are these really worth 5k ? with rust and other issues. seems outrageous to me
