Cameron says its the best space movie ever made. Shame Bullock is in it though.

If they wanted a woman they could have picked Theron or someone not so annoying. Would a trained spaceman really be hysterical? Just a thought
 
Your opinion is completely and totally useless when it comes to talking about any form of media for suggesting or even having a thought that Theron should have had the role, dear god in all that holy....NO.

Theron can act. Bullock can't...BUt really who would you have in the role?
 
Bullock, she can clearly act very well, ive never seen Theron act "differently" in ANY role, she plays the same character every time!

Whilst this is clearly BS, Bullock doesn't annoy me nearly enough to affect my enjoyment of an otherwise fantastic movie. She's also a pleasant bit of eye candy and can probably do the vulnerable thing a lot better than Theron.

Trust me, she is never hysterical in the movie. It's a very good performance.

EDIT TO ADD: And she is smoking hot for someone knocking on 50!

Don't even bother. Watching it on anything less than a HUGE screen (no, not even a 90" TV) with 3D would be like watching any other movie with no audio...or audio and no picture :)
