Hey guys

I don't know if some of you have recently noticed the 'security proofs' request by Microsoft to help secure accounts but this has recently caused me some issues.

My original email for my xbox live was hacked and all of the details changed (this was about 2 years ago). I tried to get it back at the time but couldn't prove it was mine according to the email so that was that.

My xbox live id was permanently logged in on the console so no issue there until the recent need for increased security. It asks me to log in basically and surprise surprise my password doesn't work.

So I tried calling customer services (waited 50 mins and thought WTF) tried the online form, added a credit card to my profile, etc nothing worked!!!

So I decided enough was enough and started a new Live ID.

Popped FIFA 14 into the drive and loaded up. Logged into my Origin thinking the UT stuff must be kept server side and boom, it was like I had never played FIFA 14 before.

Now if I log into the web app I can see all of my old stuff, even though I have created a new team by clicking into UT on my new Live ID.

So my question is how can I get around this. I looked into a program called MODIO where you can change the ID of the save to the new profile. After I did all this the files were still for my old Live ID?!

Sorry for drivelling on but thanks for any input!

I have no idea I'm afraid, but you may get some joy if you contact EA as well, and explain the situation to them. They may be able to do something to sort you out.

Have you got a new gamer profile or did you just change the windows live ID connected to the existing one?

I started a new Xbox Live profile with a new email address because I couldn't change the existing email without putting in my old email and password (which I don't know due to the hacker).

I started a reply but I confused myself; unfortunately UT teams are still saved client side so Im guessing your saves are 'locked' to your old Gamertag. That seems to be the issue, as from what I gather, you are saying that you still logging into your normal Origin account when you logged into FIFA 14 UT for the first time with your new Gamertag?

Who can help you do that is another thing as I suspect youll be pushed from EA and MS and back again...

All I can advise is possibly making a new UT team completely on your new Gamertag and just using the webapp and the console to trade your old cards/players across. Only concern is if you are using the same EA Origin logins then making that new team might kill your old team that you still have access to via the webapp. There also seems a question how to access the webapp for your new UT team if it still points to your old one...

Its all quite a mess - shame you cant resurrect that old email address...
