*** League of Legends ***

That intro though, with Wes Borland shredding it, was pretty pimp.

Gonna be playing normals most of the day for practice so if anyone fancies a game hit me up.

I really hope this Worlds shows Riot how broken they have made Hybrid champs with Triforce, also just how generally broken Assassins are.

Well Assassins dominated and triforce was always bought.

Except when Assassins were kept behind they never made an impact at all and Tri Force was only bought on a select few champs who weren't always picked (plus Tri Force has already had its proc nerfed for ranged champs).

corkie ez corki ez always with triforce since the triforce buff corki is back thats how strong the item is nerf or not.

Im a big Gambit Gaming fan, so whenever Alex Ich is streaming i watch it, i noticed he plays a lot of Quinn mid, and so i jumped onto pro builds.net after watching and got his quinn build, obviously id alter masteries if need be, anyways, its so good, its really strong, the early lane pressure you can produce is insane, whenever they farm you just AA them with the passive then E them followed by another AA passive and they are chunked, Also when you hit 6 you assasinate them pretty easy.

Was playing her in my gold 3 promos and won, had such a great early game with the invade, i picked up 3 kills and the enemy blue buff.

Started playing this a few months ago, what do people think of Ahri and Sivir? Are there better ranged champions to use? I'm level 11, much more of a casual player than knowing all the ins and outs!

Almost caught up now. Up to D1 Semi-Finals, second game between SKT and Sword. First game was outstanding. Sword managed to prevent Faker making any impact in the game at all. Already know who wins though thanks to Riots not-so-subtle gigantic logo on the main menu ><

Been trying to get the hang of Ahri mid these last few days (bit of a step up from Annie mid :p) and I'm still nowhere even close to being good at it. Played about 7 or 8 games now with varying degrees of success. My last hitting minions is getting better but I'm only level 23 so that slight lack of AP/MagPen runes is enough so that my early game Q leaves caster minions with 1 auto attack to kill which really messes me up.

Getting a little better at dodging/duping poke while landing some of my own. Probably a bit much to expect after so few games with the champ but I'm messing up the range of spells sometimes. My last game against Lux mid I should've killed her at level 4/5 but my Flash didn't quite clear a minion for the charm so she got away easily :( I'm also messing up my DFG almost every time I use it. Switched everything to Smartcast and having not really used a DFG much before I frequently Spirit Rush into an enemy and at the end of the combo realise that my DFG is still available and it didn't cast. Not sure whether its because I'm always trying to do it while out of range or it won't cast while I'm mid-dash or what.

I am generally holding my own in the laning though. My only massive fail so far was deciding to not flash a J4 flag pull against Zed mid until the damage had already taken me low and died anyway. That game got out of hand fast (partly down to troll picks in bot lane...).

Anyone got any tips for mid-lane Ahri (or mid lane in general)?

Corki is back because his mana costs were reduced as well, not just because of the Triforce buff. You're also forgetting that Triforce has been core on Ezreal for ages. People only switched to Iceborn because they nerfed the Triforce slow so Iceborn was better for kiting.

With most mid lane Assassins (Ahri, Kassa etc), you'll find that especially during low level of ranked games, you really need to be able to carry. That means you need kills. Kassa, Ahri especially are great at roaming and you should be ganking most lanes at every available opportunity and warding so you know where the enemy jungler is.

Minion farm for middle isn't _as_ important as say ADC or top (although still important), but providing that you roam and kill lots you can subsidies going behind a few minion kills, as the gold you'll get for killing the bot lane and jungler should subsidise.

With Ahri as I'm sure you've worked out, she's all about burst damage, spirit rush into the enemy, charm, then Q, W, auto attacks and the spirit rush to get outta there - providing you have good AP damage, most champions will fall to that combination - especially after a few kills early on due to roaming.

With regards to wards, ward next to the enemy wraiths to pick up ganking from there, if bottom are warding properly you should see the majority of ganking from bottom attempts (and also pick the enemy jungler up) and same goes for Baron pit. I like to stick a pink ward in at the red buff / blue buff, so I know exactly where the jungler is and can plan on taking him out. Generally the jungler just roams around on specific patterns looking to gank most lanes - these are easy to pick up after failed ganks they'll still just roam around looking to life steal rather than going back. Lay traps for the jungle and you should pick them up no troubles :)
