City link booked to pick up 2 parcels, the driver knocked on door told him to come up as I had BT engineer at the Flat he looked at the 2 boxes and said I'm not taking that and walked out. Told him wait 5 mins till BT engineer leaves and i'll help you, the city link driver just walked away.

BT engineer was shocked he called city link on his phone started to have a rant at City link depo.

Personally I'm shocked at the level of service that city link provide.

Did the driver give you a reason? If not, that is poor that. Ring up and complain.

Typical, citylink are ok, but i know the citylink driver for my area is....weird to say the least he came to pick up a parcel, the box was sitting beside my door in view, i moved it towards him and he says "right, wheres the package" after my look of bewilderment he then goes "oh this, k"

What was his reason? Where they massive boxes? Had you smeared them in feces?
We need more info!

Yesterday City Link were supposed to deliver a package to me between 11am and 2pm at 1:30pm a City Link van stopped outside my place, driver got out, got a parcel out of the back and took it to a neighbours over the road then ****ed off in his van... I just cannot begin to comprehend why he didn't drop my package off while he was parked outside my front ****ing window with me staring at him wondering WTF was going on... They are by far the worst courier service I've ever had to deal with and what makes it worse is their nearest depot to pick up from is almost 30Miles away...

Nope, just said he not going to carry the box, i even said wait 5 mins for the engineer to pack his tools and i'll help, as the city link driver walked away told him i'll be making a complaint driver tells me go ahead i don't care.

What kind of boxes are we talking and what was in them?

I also don't understand why the BT Engineer was phoning them up.

City Link driver hasn't got five minutes to wait for you to go about your daily business.

Most couriers won't carry large or heavy boxes up and down to flats.

Did a Mod delete my sarcastic reply to this thread??

I don't care, i just need to know i'm not going mad.

What a tool.

How do you know your parcel was on his van doofer?

Only going from the Amazon/City Link Tracking things, but if that was wrong, why did it change status to 'Sorry we're running late' and then 'In our Network'? The estimated time slot was bang on too as he was right outside within the window, so if it wasn't in the van they sure did some good guesswork at the depot. I even asked when he was delivering today why he'd missed yesterday but only got a sheepish 'Wasn't me yesterday..' Must've been his twin brother then eh? ;)

While the driver is a jobsworth for not carrying the boxes down after walking all the way upstairs I don't see why you couldn't just bring them down to him in the first place... I'm sure the BT engineer doesn't need help packing up his tools nor is likely to rob your DVDs etc.. in the minute it takes you to carry two packages down some steps.

Because if he'd left the BT man alone he'd have been in his bedroom, sniffing pants and smashing up TVs. Then when he posted about this travesty on OcUK he'd be told that it's his own fault for not installing CCTV cameras and watching his every move.
