I must also repeat: Don't even bother unless you can see it in 3D at the IMAX. 90% of the reason this movie is SO damn good is because it's about as close as you'll ever get to actually floating around in space above the Earth. I kid you not, there were a couple of times I actually got a touch of vertigo and felt pulled into the screen.

Yeah. Glad to heard Framestore did most of it, but Prime Focus are killing post production and are an evil, evil company. Plus if 3d is so 'essential' to a story then why the heck wasn't it shot in 3d. Argh.

Shipping everything out to India, undercutting to the point of making no profit just to get the work in which in the end has played a big part in the race to the bottom for rates everywhere. Treat people like ****. Pay good people absolute pittance. The list goes on. I used to work there and even though I was only there for a year I saw two rounds of redundancies, they even gave paycuts across the board, including a sliding scale that have people on 15k a 10% cut. I have a friend that recently got made redundant from there.. For the second time. Its just a nasty place and the Indian owners run it like a sweatshop. Check any industry pages online for more opinions. Eg the VFX Solidarity page on FB, any time PF are mentioned the comments say it all..

Sandra Bullock is no longer attractive.

She was hot in Speed but she's had that much work she looks awful.
 
I don't see how someone being attractive or not spoils a film or makes it more entertaining unless you are watching blue movies
