Just bit the bullet and bought this. Wow great phone, lightning quick and feels good in the pocket. Are there any note specific apps i should download?

Thanks for that - just placed my order using that deal with just 2hrs left on the £100 cashback. Looking forward to receiving the phone in the next 48 hrs :cool:

No worries. :)

Just to give you a heads up, I received an email from quidco around 30-60 minutes after I placed my order with the tracking receipt but it only showed as £50. When I queried this on quidco it said:

'Don't worry - dialaphone always track in this way. This will update to the correct amount prior to the cashback being confirmed in your account.'

Let me know if yours tracks as £50 or £100.

now for a case, SD card and screen protector.

My previous research came to this choice of covers (not convinced on my choice of colours though!) and SD card. Haven't really looked into screen protectors yet...

and how pocketable is it please ?

I carry my Iphone 4 around with me everywhere - the 5s doesn't much take my fancy - but a Note 3 does - just wondered how big it is to carry around though

Out of my 15-20 pairs of trousers and jeans, there's just one pair that the phone slightly pokes out of.

Shorts can be problematic though, but probably not an issue over the coming months!

I went for this deal too.

Saw it a week ago and been debating between the Note 3 and the Nexus 5. Was hoping to see more info regarding the Nexus before this £100 cashback deal expired at 00:00. Just bit the bullet and ordered the Note 3 deal. :D

Case, screen protector and 32GB Micro SD card ordered too.

Depends on how baggy your trousers are :) if you're into skinny jeans this phone may cause you issues ^^
 
I think MJ1 has more battery drain than MI7, not much but I definitely notice Google Services using more battery time than anything else. Perhaps MJ2 and MJ3 fix this. Waiting for a stock-rooted release of MJ3.
 
Might give this one a miss. Still more than happy with my Note II and not feeling that's it's worth the upgrade, having finally managed to have a play with one.
