I really enjoyed the first DMR, so much so I started using it as a main weapon for support. I especially liked the canted irons for CQB.

The stock irons are awful and take up too much room, shame there's no reflex sight for it.

I found the RFB god awful. Forget winning any 1v1's for sure, and the recoil mad it hard to hit targets at medium range.

I'll stick with my ak5c I think :D Hopefully it's a nice early unlock in the full game, I was even using it on my assault class over the AK12, loved it that much.
 
Really enjoyed what little of the beta i played. Roll on release now. Went to play a bit of bf3 just now, thought to myself nah wont bother. Probably just move it to my secondary hdd to free up some ssd space.
 
Nice trick of them, will resist ordering until it comes back down - not playing any 'games' by them trying to squeeze more money out of it.
 
I remember them doing Early Access on BF3, wondering if its the case with BF4 release?

Gutted the Beta has finished!
 
Back to my FM13 game for 2 weeks then...I was there when they pulled the plug this morning. Very rude blank screen at 1105 whilst in the middle of getting wasted by an engy squad in my tank

What's the actual digital release date for the people of Europe? I have the 29th tues booked off but I've heard it's not till the 1st Nov which is a Fri


Anyone know?
 
I am lost at the moment, seriously tried playing BF3 earlier and it felt so bad compared to BF4. I've just deleted it and the next 2 and a bit weeks will be a long long wait!

It's the 29th for Americans and 1st November for EU i think.

I aborted my isntall of bf3 aswell.

Dont know what to do with myself.
 
As its only a beta, surely they could have ran it for longer! Withdrawl symptoms kicking in so damn you EA.

Well i thought i'd just keep my aim up and that on BF3, it felt so slow and clumsy and just didn't feel right after BF4.

I just can't play it now i've played something which i consider better, pretty much did half my played BF3 hours in the beta. I just didn't get on with BF3 as much as i did with BF2/BC2
 
What version of this is everyone generally buying? Is premium the only way to go or is one of the cheaper preorders with the China dlc OK? As much as ive enjoyed the beta i'm not sure I can bring myself to pay nearly £60 for a game when Im used to buying games in the steam sales :p
