These sound ace

the biggest gain from decoking inside the cylinders is getting carbon out of the piston rings so they can seal properly again. thats why cars can feel faster afterwards.

if any actual cleaning has been done you need to do an oil change because the majority fo the rubbish ends up in the OIL

I spent about £5,000 on petrol last year. Even a 1% improvement would save £50 a year...

I saw :o So you get back under 50% of the treatment cost, so into year two, and another £5k through the tank to break even point? Won't your engine need cleaned out again to sustain this notional 1% improvement in efficiencies?

All in all I reckon driving like a granny and keeping your right foot under control more will make a bigger dent than that snake oil :D

How would you ever quantify a 1% improvement? Day to economy can vary by more just due to prevailing wind conditions, weather, minor traffic variations, etc.

You may as well have set fire to £150 whilst videoing it on youtube. You'd have got a greater return through advertising revenue.

Maybe. But some things you have to try to see what the outcome is.

Just lol.

Spending £110 £132 on fresh plugs, leads, engine oil, fuel/air/oil filters, a can of carb cleaner to clean the inlet, and a bottle of redex if you're really desperate, is guaranteed to yield more of an improvement than this.

I would have given it the pixie dust treatment for £50.

Potential* results of an extra 5 MPG on long journeys.

I do that anyway as part of the standard maintenance regime.

Do tell me that you have something more useful to contribute than "Just lolz"?

So this Terraclean ****e is pretty much pointless, then.

RTFP.

Nah, not really!

Well, in that case shutup then because you're gumming up the thread with nothing useful.

Nah, not really. I might stick around for the lolz though if that's alright with you.

It's a free country and open forum. Would be better if you tried to contribute something useful though rather than displaying general retardness.

Pardon?

No. It's a free internet.

I'd imagine that spending £110 on this is going to yield as much of a placebo effect as when "audiophiles" spend similar amounts on mains cables and wooden isolator feet for their CD players.

Calm down darling. I'm not the one throwing money into the wind here.
