I've always been unsure about this.

Is there any need to still install chipset drivers for your motherboard? Don't all drivers come with Windows 8.1 anyway? There's nothing in 'device manager' that says their driver needs installing.

Do cetain chipset drivers not come in the Catalyst graphics card driver package anyway?

I'm just getting paranoid about the chipset and graphics card drivers conflicting.

You might see a performance increase if you do. The only driver I bother with these days is GPU (NVIDIA).

Cheers.

I've only installed the Catalyst drivers and everything seems fine. If I start having issues, I'll install the chipset ones as well.
