Nvidia Montreal Stream

The fluid + cloth (soft body) interaction was pretty cool, love the potential for that ingame.

The last question was hard to hear but from the reply, they asked about mixing fluid effects with the flame effect....Something for Devs to think about. I was seriously blown away with the flames from the dragon. And remember we are watching it on a poor quality stream. 1080P on that please Nvidia.

Back from suspension.

Been watching the stream, particularly impressed with some of those PhysX effects, far more enjoyable than the AMD stream last month, presenters who know how to present and they've talked about stuff that matters not audio for 30 mins.

Pcper: Don't forget guys, you'll definitely want to be on our stream tomorrow. More specific product/technology to talk about. 10am ET.

Excuse my confusion, but from the end of that, am I to assume that the Nvidia promo during the "holiday" season will be 3 games (AC4, Batman+splinterCell) included with the purchase of a Nvidia card?

I didn't hear that and would be very surprised if true but Nvidia could be trying to counter the tired AMD promo.

More than 500 games ship with PhysX. yeah, i think i heard an ironic cough in the crowed :D

Hehehe,

Since 2007 when Nvidia bought Ageia, only 40 games support GPU Physx. Of which I have played only 1 title.

In addition to another 12 games that supported the Ageia PPU, released between 2005-2007.

To come with the figure of 500, probably used the same calculators that set their pricing for the GTX780 and the Titan :D
