handicap is higher rated teams tend to turn to crap when playing against lower rated teams.

this can be proven by the fact many many players use silver teams in the game and beat gold teams easily.

it's nothing to do with that player being good at the game the handicap makes his team play far better than it should and makes yours turn to crap.


banding is the same thing but it happens to losing player, basically if your losing by 1 or 2 goals, your team suddenly start playing better and the winning team suddenly cannot pass the ball or control it, etc.

whenever i go 2 goals up, every cross or pass the opposing team makes is always perfect, even if you tackle their players it sometimes gives it back to them, etc. that is banding.


a lot of people do not believe in the above but the handicap can be easily proven by building a silver team and playing against a gold one, or even build a bronze team if you really want to take the pee.

obviously abusing the built in handicap doesn't guarantee you a win, but it makes it a lot easier.


with me being in division 1, most of the players i come up against have 5 star teams, so i build 4.5 star teams to basically make their team play like crap and mine play better than it should.


banding however was really OP until the last patch on PS3, it's somehow disappeared from the 3 games i played last night.

will need to play it again today, but banding seems to have gone, i was thrashing teams last night and my players still felt fine, so they may have nerfed it some.

If this thing you call "banding" is still about, I sure experienced it last night.
3-0 up in the first half... couldn't pass to save our lives (playing with my bro) and everything fell to him :( in the second half.

oh this was also proven by some guys taking apart the PC code and screenshotting it and uploading online.

but yeah some people on here somehow still do not believe it, even though it's clearly coded into the PC version, so no reason why it wouldn't be in the console versions too.

please do explain the above mark?
