I've always bought them for Pokemon games, I even have a really old guide for Red/Blue that's literally falling apart but it's tucked away safely with the other guides I have.
I buy them for very few game actually.
I always buy them for Pokemon, because I don't know haha, I think it's a harp back to my childhood where I'd sit for hours playing the games on my bedroom floor with the guide open in front of me reading about Pokemons, where to catch them, what was coming up next, helped me organise my line up type thing, so I think I do it out of a sense of nostalgia of doing that again.
The game is great so far but I have no idea what is going on with the online stuff. I can't see anywhere in the options to explain the how it all works once your connected to the Internet. O-Power is the latest thing I have bumped into and I have no idea what's going on lol

Do you get the official guides then?
Tempted to get that ltd edition Zelda: link between worlds 3ds xl so I can play it and this.
But it still remains extremely off putting how much greed NOE display... The new zelda 3DS here is £200, in yanksville it's $220.... Seriously Nintendoh!?!?

Just finished this, took little over 20hrs really enjoyed it though wasn't really a challenge all gyms were easy as we're the elite 4 but still enjoyed the mix of old and new pokemon. The tweaks and design suited the game perfectly hope the next one is as good

How long does it take to transfer to another Pokemon? I'll take one anyway mate if you're still oferring. Can throw you a Honedge with 5 perfect IVs (Unfortunately eery non perfect IV is pretty crucial) but it's better than nothing, right

How do you tell if your IVs are any good?

Go to the IV checker in the Pokemon centre in Killoude City I think it's called. He will state whatever stats have IVs of 31 and say those stats cant be beaten.
Perfect IV (less Spec. Attack which is pointless) Adamant Aegislash Level 51
. 252 Attack, 252 HP and 4 Speed.

damn my ocd, I was 5 gyms in until i realised my blaziken had a -speed nature and just *had* to restart the game >.>
If you haven't saved on the new game already I could breed you an Adamant Torchic?
