Currently run a gigabyte 7970 wind force card, stock clocks are 1000 core and 1350 mem.

I can pick up a cheap gigabyte 7970 wind force giga hertz edition which comes with standard clocks of 1050 which boost to 1100.

Will there be any issues running these to cards, and stutter caused by the mixed clock speeds?

No you wont have any problems at all, if anything run the Ghz edition as the primary card incase you ever need to disable crossfre, that way you have the faster card for non crossfire mode.

I ran a 7970 WF3 OC and a 7950 WF3 in crossfire and never had an issue because they were different cards/ different speeds.

Just expect marginal gains over 2 WF3 non -ghz editions in crossfire.

My standard one has locked voltage so doesnt o'c niceley. Depending on the game i can OC to 1100mhz but sometimes I get crashes.

Might cancel order and get the standard 7970 then rather than the cheaper Ghz model.
