I know ! It jumped 3 generations of tech in 1 year.

The tech isn't far from giving almost half the dpi I have in my phone though!

Still very interested with the iPad air, so the Mini may be a present/auction soon

I don't think that is right...

I have an iPad 3 now and will be buying getting an iPad air for my mum. I just think if your going to get something the size of the mini which requires 2 hands, you might as well buy the full size one (especially now its much smaller). If your using it at home especially, much nicer imo.

I've only used the mini a few times, it was nice... but when i'm in bed, I want the larger screen.

Yea ok for video and what not the Air is better. But with the same resolution, processor and camera, I can't help but feel the iPad Air is a bit of weird one.

I'm biased of course because I have a Mini already, and the lightness of the Air is definitely welcome. Just surprised that the Mini is now exactly the same, only a bit smaller.

Yeah samsung, google, amazon tablets feel like plastic poop compared to the aluminium of an Apple iPad, it's the best of the best and commands the price point, apple never has let me down so I'm sold!

The iPad air is not worth the $100 more than the new mini though. Makes it a very tough choice between the two.
