£1,400 buget

I'm not sure what site you're looking at the configuration on, but it seems a bit over-priced.

Definitely get a RAM configuration with two sticks (so 2x4GB or 2x8GB depending on what capacity you want) so you can use dual-channel mode.

Edit: Stock Intel cooler too? For £1500 you're getting ripped off.

im getting it ofk im am certain that i want the i5 4670k and the amd 7990 but i am not 100 percent what would you guys choose for me but again keeping he 4670k and the 7990 also. need good air cooling as the 7990 will channel the heat into my case also £1500 max

Remove the competitor name fella, and why not just buy here?

No promotion of OcUK's competitors

We, Overclockers UK (OcUK) are happy to provide the resources of these forums to responsible individuals without charge. They cost a substantial amount of money to maintain and use considerable amounts of bandwidth which is paid for exclusively by us. As you know OcUK are in the computer hardware business and therefore the promotion of OcUK's competitors is forbidden. Examples of promotion are :-

Posting links to competitors websites
Posting links to reviews that promote competitors
Quoting the names or contact details of competitors
Offering to provide the names or contact details of competitors
Hinting about product availability at competitors and their pricing
Using the forums to notify a member of intent or actual supply of names or contact details of competitors
Listing competitors names, URL's or e-mail addresses in signatures
Listing competitors names, URL's or e-mail addresses in profile
Posting links to or the mentioning of auction sites
Disguising attempts to do any of the above

I would recommend paying a bit extra and getting it from OCuk rather than splitting an order different ways and getting it from a mixture of other retailers. OCuk offer some of the best customer service i have ever seen and will handle many of the RMAs themselves at the store for the first year.

and that costs £1400?

The spec demon did is much much better.. seriously.

Are you really not wanting to self build?

Thanks Doomedspeed.

I dont mean to brag OP but the system i specced you is so much better than the one you have there.

I strongly suggest you take my advice.

Well with the advent of bf4 and most likely other upcoming games in the near future will be taking advantage of the extra cores/threads, that makes the i7 more future proof.

Personally I prefer ethermasters spec ;)

A 7990 and i5 will trump a i7 and 7970 in every respect when gaming with the budget quoted.

Well seeing as ethermasters spec has 2x 280x toxics your argument is moot, if the £1500 is too much could cut back from the toxics and save some money to bring it closer to the £1400 mark. the 7990 you speced has gone up by £20 so you're spec is the same(ish) price as ethermasters.
