7950 CF vs 280X Toxic

Which one would you go for if upgrading from 560 ti sli?

Tbh, I initially wanted to upgrade to a single card and do away with sli/cf but I'm willing to consider it now, after reading 7950 cf is amazing.

What put me off the most tbh was the noise. With most games it was fine but, during FF14 ARR, the fans would go full speed and it sounded like a plane taking off.

CPU is i5 2500k @ 4.5GHz.

I'd wait a week,

For the price of two 7950's you maybe able to pick up a 290, probably not going to be as fast as 7950s in crossfire, but it's going to be quick.

You CPU will Bottleneck in some games running 2x 7950's an i7 is recommended for Xfire/Sli
