where do u live, perhaps someone can verify it is goosed in another machine before you go down that route.

1st place I would look is the manufactors website and see if you can get on the blower to them. A bit of blagging may get results.

Do you think that would work and what should i say exactly..

Lol in my mind I also read that as you tried it in another machine and it was working ( assumed the seller of the card ) and then tried it on yours and its dead.

Did you buy from the bay ? or off a friend or some kind of classifieds ?

I just mailed him again for more info, he last told me he bought it in a rig which he had for six months and it just died on him..

I actually picked the card up for 25 euro from ebay so i said it was worth a shot..

DON'T take the card and put it in the oven. Yes that stuff actually work but not in your case.

Ok listen. Since you said not even the fans spin up this means no juice is getting through to the card. Aka the power circuit is broken. It could be either some components are damaged or the PCB is damaged. If some power components are damaged they can be easily replaced. If some inside layer of the PCB is damaged you can throw the card in the trash bin.

Also you bought this off ebay for 25 quid and have nerve to ask AMD for help.. Lol dude.
