Why wouldn't you order from Shopto or Gameseek, both will get you the game a day or two before release, Amazon is both more expensive and also won't come until the release day.

Considering Wind Waker took 6 months and would require much less effort than upgrading a N64 game then these rumours are pretty laughable.

Only thing with gameseek - don't they take payment at the point of ordering (which is a bit cheeky tbh for a 4 week advance pre-order)?

Yes they do. And I believe that they only offer it back, should you cancel, as store credit. I don't use them anymore.

All of these options are rather better than £41 from Amazon Boomstick - have you found the "cancel my order" button yet? :p
 
Does anyone collect the nintendo points? I think they are pretty useless for one person but I bet if we banded together and pulled a name out of a hat we could get enough codes over the next few months to give one or two people some good ninty loot.

I've had a fair few things from Club Nintendo, the SNES classic controller, the Mario Kart Trophy, the 3DS game carry case and the Mario Bros figurine. I get given all my friends codes though.
 
I picked up a Wii U last week with Zelda. I've been a huge fan of Wind Waker since I got the collectors edition of it on the Game Cube. I relived it when I played it on the Wii using my old GameCube disc. Whilst the game was still amazing graphics back then they obviously had to smooth/blur out distant objects to savour FPS. The new HD version is perfect and really does highlight how well Wind Waker has aged. I was gutted when I saw the Twilight Princes no longer had cartoony cell shaded graphics. Wish they would go back to them tbh!

Still looking around to pickup a copy of Mario U. Someone posted a £25 deal at Sainsburys but my local one doesn't stock it :(

The Wii U is unfortunately lacking in retail support. Saying that Tesco have teamed up with Nintendo however so should help out.

Mario is £20 in Cex if you can deal with pre-owned, and obviously stock permitting. Also £8 for Zombiu too which is a steal.
