Mass Effect trilogy

Hey guys

Is it worth getting the Mass Effect Trilogy even now?

I have enjoyed playing ME3 with mods - that make it look absolutely stunning - but I have to admit I never completed 1 or 2

They [1+2] are £9.99 on Origin each. Worth getting and playing through?

I think there's a sale on steam for even lower than on Origin, They are both brilliant, Highly recommend them, The first 1 to me felt a lot more like an RPG compared to 2 and especially 3.

No problem, I could never get round to modding all 3, I would end up with stupid amounts of mods and breaking the game/s

Yeah I just did another playthrough of 1+2 to play me3 as I have not got around to it yet. But 1 and 2 are pretty amazing.

Played all three. You need to persevere with them but i enjoyed all three, particularly two.

I think 1 is the hardest to go back to, that bloody Mako. But they are all defo worth playing and 3 of my fav games.

First one is the best (Admittedly I have still to do 3) but you find it a bit of a shock after playing the third first.

Even though it was clunky, 1 had the most epic endings of the trilogy. 2 was my favourite from a character perspective. 3 was, well, acceptable with the extended ending/Leviathan DLC.

I loved the Mako. Disappointed by the "every planet has one of 3 base layouts, all of them human", but the actual driving was fun.

more fun than the bloody planet scanner.

I played all 3 (2nd was the best)great games,you will have fun playing them.On another note I remember ur nickname from somewhere did you use to play arma2 wasteland on MBS/OCUK?

The feeling in ME1 landing on some desolate planet for the first time and having to explore with the Mako = amazing! Also, the opening theme/screen to ME1 really blew me away, really makes you feel like you're in for an amazing adventure.

Shame about the re-use of levels really but it's still an amazing game and yeah, ME1 is much more RPG style. I like tinkering with equipment.

Damn, I loved that trilogy. I'd love to play them all again but really can't find the time. I don't think any game has ever lived with me like the ME series once it was over.

Finished all three (1 and 2 twice using different story line, will play 3rd second time too sometimes using different storyline). Amazing game, each part has something own which makes every part good imo.

For me Mass Effect ended on the first one. The story went south together with game play after that. Instead of improving the RPG elements they striped it out to dumb it down for the masses :/

The series is well worth a play through, especially at that price.

ME1 was my favourite by far.

Really couldn't get into the first one. That may have been because I played ME2 first...
Loved 2+3 though.
