Should get proper internet on the 7th of November, can't wait to have some decent hitreg again,

I'm hoping the latest AMD 13.11 Beta (v6) has the same effect in BF4 as it's supposed to do in BF3 (up to 10% performance increase).

Unfortunately, I can see that Flood Zone map testing a graphics card more than Siege Of Shanghai did.

Yep all the old teams are back... it's a shame 5v5 domination is gonna suck, random spawns hahaha no ta... why esl haven't done any 10v10 comps is stupid... gonna lose out on a lot of teams playing.. but then again not every team has good air players which is why the skill gap in bf3 was so big in 8v8 :(

Yeah, Air was king in BF3.

The respawns are more along the lines of Conq Dom from BF3 CQ rather than completely random. However this will mean that if a team has 2 flags, they won't push at all for the out cap as at that point I believe the other team can respawn behind you. It'll be slow and as you say, boring to watch.

I personally dont want to see the heli/jet rape that prevaled in bf3. Good luck to someone that practiced enough and became a good pilot. But in bf3 there is no effective countermeasure against helis or jets whatsoever. The stinger, useless as an ashtray on a motorbike. The javelin, an anti tank weapon that dice has decided can be anti air. Pmsl at that one. Stinger is a one shot kill weapon on low flying jets, heck a few api rounds from a .50 machine gun will bring a chopper down at 2000 yards. Lets have at least a bit of realism in the game.

If there are jets on a map (as long as the entire enemy airforce isn't on TS) a heli is an easy target, I freely admit I am horrific in a jet but would be confident I can take down most heli's without all that much difficulty, that includes even top Heli teams. Top down attacks are the only way to go, especially against the havoc.

Every time nubs get mad at heli rape they take the next jet and fly straight at the heli, well if you do that you deserve a TV / 30mm in da face.

Yet again the issue is skill imbalance not that Air is OP.

But tbh westie, infantry need better countermeasures against jets/helis. It would actually encourage better flying, ie dodging to escape lock on weapons. Bf3 as it is at the moment, the supposed anti air weapons are a waste of a slot for infantry. Flares and extinguishers render a chopper invincible. Then when a lot of k/d chopper pilots sit on the edge of the map out of range with no countermeasure. People just get ****ed of and go play 64 metro conquest to farm points. Tbh if i wanted to farm points in a game, id buy a cod game. But for me it died after mw1. For me bf2 and bbfc2 were fantastic, just seemed more fun. I dont give a flyin **** about my kd. to me it's about enjoying the game.:)

And i look forward to seeing you all on the battlefield lads, should be a blast.:D

Stinger were given a massive range boost, Heli's had their 2nd flares taken away. Yet again it's skill and game knowledge not Heli's being the problem exactly. Once heli's became cannon fodder when playing aggressive, the good players adapted and played very defensive. 99% of public heli pilots fly straight at the enemy AA because they utter morons, it's the 1% of skilled players you have to watch out for so most of the time Heli's aren't an issue. Most issues vehicle wise, is where there are highly skilled players playing against nubs.

Im no great player by any stretch, i played for fun. But bf3 was so frustrating as an infantry player. Seen me putting 4 rpg rounds into a humvee only for it to keep on moving. It kinda gets frustrating. Whereas bfbc2, the so called console game had balance down to a t. Some of the later maps in that game make bf3 look like a joke. Take heavy metal from bc2, wide open expanses, mountains, forests to hide in. What did we get in bf3. Metro 64 cq, an absolute cluster****, like cod mw2 on steroids.b I used to play novalogics joint ops years ago, looked dire at the time. But 128 players on a 64 sqkm map, you had choppers, boats, numerous land vehicles. Every round felt like a massive battle. Sniping in it was fantastic, crawl into position for ages. Adjust your scope for that one shot, claymore behind you for security. Boom, if you missed you scarperd out of place. But if you got that single shot kill that you worked so long for. It was very satisfying. Sorry to ramble, bit drunk and reminiscing bout the good ol days lol.:D
