Pokemon X and Y - 3DS - Oct 2013

Sigh.

Why is it that we're not able to rename pokemon which already have a nickname? I just traded a fairly high level Tauros in the hopes of getting a Kadabra. I got one and sat here praying that it didn't have a stupid nickname... It's called Eminem.

Anyone want to trade a Kadabra (any level) for a level 16 Alakazam called Eminem? :mad:

Likes to thrash about. Iv's probably not great because my Japanese mother doesn't have fantastic stats. However I bred a Gyarados with a Gabite to get a half decent set of gabites, then bred the gabites together with an adamant gabite. Then bred the gabite with the Japanese Larvitar...! Only took about 5 hours.

Could someone explain breeding and "IV" to me? Explain it as if I were 5 - Or point me in the direction of a guide (written preferably but video is fine too) which would do so?

the good news about the larvitar I gave you is that it has 31 iv for attack and Adamant nature. So +10% attack as well so it's an attacking powerhouse. Overall id give that pokemon a 8/10 overall rating.

It also has 2 egg moves I.e moves it can't learn itself but have to ve inherited by breeding with another species that is compatible with it. Dragon dance and stealth rock. The idea is you get larvitar into battle use stealth rock to hurt new pokemon switching in. Or dragon dance then crush your opponent.

:( indeed, though I kind of expected him to have trained it just an incy bit, was the same level I gave it to him as lol
