i haven't played kick off for probably a couple of years now and iirc, it wasn't apparent, well not so much that you can see it unfold right in front of you like this years UT.

they added it to online to keep noobs playing and therefore keep spending.

nobody is going to keep playing a game if they always get beat, think about it, they added it to keep noobs playing. also if a top player has say a poor team and gets beaten, he may think it was the poor players fault and spend money to get better players.

i would need to play several games of kick off to see if it is in offline, you cannot judge it off 1 or 2 games.

but if you have the game on ps3, i would happily play you with a bronze team to prove handicap exists.

banding cannot be proven as easily you really need to have a feel for the game engine and fifa to see it and played a lot of games.
