Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

How long did it take for the pre-load to start?

I'm in Seattle and thought I'd play some games on Origin in my hotel room, but I heard BF4 might pre-load but it's not yet :D

I tried seattle too and it doesn't show as preloading either.

Maybe their activating in batches?
EDIT - have a feeling its something to do with BF4 deluxe, as tried the gf's account and her's doesnt give an option to preload either.

Done and dusted, now to see how it works on Monday, for some reason I doubt you'll be able to use the vpn to launch it then disconnect from it to play the game. SP maybe but doubtful for multi.

CactusVPN free trial was the only thing what let the download continue when i turned off the vpn. I would recommend that, downloading at 10mb/s now

For those that need help using FlyVPN: http://imgur.com/a/At6E7#0

But essentially:

  1. Close Origin
  2. Start up FlyVPN and connect to Korea
  3. Start up Origin
  4. Right click on BF4 and pre-load
  5. As soon as it starts preparing the pre-load, you can disconnect from the VPN.

All the servers in Korea seems to be paid memebr restricted. Is it worth giving the USA a try?

As I'm in a hotel in LA...

Cancel that I was on vpnu not vpnc, on there now! chubby sausage fingers crossed!

Why do EA have an obsession with ripping off the entire European continent?

Anyway regarding the Mexican trick... Do you stay connected all throughout checkout? Or disconnect once you have added the tortillas to your cart?
